The Cat Tree

In November 2005 I built a cat tree for my cats based on a set of plans I found at http://www.cattreeplans.com/. The original plans had some great ideas and explanation on construction but weren't tall enough, particularly for Caitlyn who loves to climb (she has a habit of climbing to the top of my 6' ladder every time I bring it out). So, I combined elements from a couple of plans to create my tree. The final product is about 6 feet tall, by 3 feet long and 2 feet wide. I can't say I saved any money building it myself rather than purchasing a pre-built one but it contains all the elements I wanted. And, best of all, the cats love it.
