The Resident Cats

Galen and Duncan were born on May 3, 2003 and now weigh in at a little over 14 pounds each. They were adopted from A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment), a no-kill animal shelter, when they were six months old. Caitlyn was adopted from ARF and was born approximately one year after the boys. In 2011 I added what we refer to in the shelter field as a "foster failure", i.e. a foster I couldn't bear to give up so she became the fourth  member of the family. She was also from A.D.O.P.T. After considering a number of different names, eventually I settled on the name Arwen. Kieren was a cat I adopted from Feral Fixers.
